The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest sights in the world — the longest wall in the world, an awe-inspiring feat of ancient defensive architecture. Its winding path over rugged country and steep mountains takes in some great scenery. This trail run is like no other races done at the Great Wall. We will be running at different sections of the Great Wall, some of which are not open to the general public. It is basically a ‘stage race’: Chenjiabu, Gubeikou-Jinshanling, Yellow Flower, Huangyaguan Pass, Qing Tombs and Mutianyu.
The trails at the Wall are steep and challenging but the views are magnificent and breathtaking. You can choose to run or trek along the routes, whichever suits you best but most importantly, it will be an event that will leave a lasting impression.
