The TCS New York City Marathon course is a 26.2 mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and it’s a model for big-city marathons around the world. It has the largest number of runners, exceeding 50,000 and is possibly the grandest marathon in the world. You will get to see New York City on foot, running through the 5 boroughs. Starting on Staten Island, you will first cross over to Brooklyn via the iconic Verrazano-Narrows bridge and feel the bursting pulse beats of the artistic community with their music and dance. Then you will move over to the charming neighborhood of Queens, with its diverse landscapes and housing, and then spend some quiet moments along the Queensboro Bridge before entering Manhattan and be greeted by the electrifying energy of New Yorkers lining the streets. After that exhilarating run along First Avenue, the runners will discover the cultural mix of Latin music and hip hop at the Bronx, and eventually back to Manhattan to finish their run at Central Park, a National Historic Landmark and the most visited urban park in the USA.

The TCS New York City Marathon is a challenging race, with its numerous bridges and undulating terrain but having the whole city on its feet cheering you on throughout the whole distance, makes this journey a memorable experience.

THURSDAY 31 OCT 2024

Morning arrival in JFK airport (New York) or Newark (New Jersey), and take the airport shuttle service to hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area, eat out for lunch, or head out for an easy jog in Central Park to refresh your blood circulation after the long-haul flight
Visit the Marathon Expo today for race pack collection
In the evening, watch the Halloween Parade, or catch a Broadway musical

FRIDAY 01 NOV 2024

Morning run in Central Park & familiarisation of the finish area
Free day for sightseeing, shopping, or race pack collection for runners who arrived late Thursday evening
In the afternoon, attend the Marathon Opening Ceremony and the Parade of Nations including fireworks display
Dinner on your own or with the group 

SATURDAY 02 NOV 2024

Optional NYRR Dash to the Finish Line 5k, which starts at the UN building & finishes in Central Park
Move on freely from there or take the subway or shuttle service to the Marathon Expo for last-minute race pack collections
Marathon eve carbo-loading dinner (all runners & companions) 

SUNDAY 03 NOV 2024 (RACE DAY)

Early morning race start transfer to Staten Island
Enjoy a terrific marathon while we wish you the best for a race of your lifetime
After crossing the finish line, take a slow walk back to the hotel
Post-race celebration at a pub/restaurant nearby, replenish your energy with drinks & food, and share your race experience with all of us

MONDAY 04 NOV 2024

Athletes on the 5N/6N package have another day available in New York City for sightseeing, shopping
Marathon Monday at the Tavern on the Green - shop for finisher's merchandise & get your medals engraved at the same place

TUESDAY 05 NOV 2024

Marathon Tuesday at the Tavern on the Green, and get ready for check out by 11 am
