The TCS SYDNEY MARATHON presented by ASICS, made its debut as the 7th World Marathon Major in 2025, and it was a tremendous success with 33,000 finishers.
The course is one of the world’s most scenic & breathtaking routes in the world, starting in North Sydney, crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and finishing at the Sydney Opera House.
The 2026 edition will be held on Sunday 30th August 2026.
THURSDAY 27 AUG 2026
Arrival at Sydney Airport, and make your way to the hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area
Race Pack collection at the Race Expo
Dinner on your own, and free & easy in the evening
FRIDAY 28 AUG 2026
Breakfast at the hotel
Race Pack collection at the Race Expo
Rest of the day, free to explore Sydney on your own
In the evening, join the group for the Sydney Marathon Harbour Cruise.
SATURDAY 29 AUG 2026
After breakfast, join us for an easy shake-out run (about 5km)
Pre-race buffet dinner for everyone on our tour packages
SUNDAY 30 AUG 2026 (RACE DAY)
After an early breakfast, runners will be escorted to the start area
Trains are free for all runners.
After the race, recharge in the recovery zone, and/or back at the hotel
In the afternoon, meet up for our post-race celebrations with the rest of the runners in the group
MONDAY 31 AUG 2026
Leisurely breakfast, relax and get ready for check out by 11 am
