The TCS SYDNEY MARATHON presented by ASICS, made its debut as the 7th World Marathon Major in 2025, and its popularity has grown tremendously. In 2025, the number of finishers was 33,000 and in 2026, it was more than 36,000.
The course is one of the world’s most scenic & breathtaking routes in the world, starting in North Sydney, crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and finishing at the Sydney Opera House.
The 2027 edition will be held on Sunday 29th August 2027.
THURSDAY 26 AUG 2027
Arrival at Sydney Airport, and make your way to the hotel
Early check-in as available or baggage drop; walk and explore the hotel’s surrounding area

Dinner on your own, and free & easy in the evening
FRIDAY 27 AUG 2027
Shake-out run (Harbour Bridge & Opera House)

In the afternoon, join the group for the Sydney Marathon Harbour Cruise.

SATURDAY 28 AUG 2027
Shake-out run (Barangaroo Park & Harbour Bridge)
Mini-Marathon (5km) for those who have signed up for the event
Breakfast at the hotel
Pre-race buffet dinner for everyone on our tour packages
SUNDAY 29 AUG 2027 (RACE DAY)
After an early breakfast, runners will be escorted to the start area
Trains are free for all runners.
After the race, recharge in the recovery zone, and/or back at the hotel
In the afternoon, meet up for our post-race celebrations with the rest of the runners in the group
MONDAY 30 AUG 2027
Leisurely breakfast, relax and get ready for check out by 11 am
